Understanding the unique properties of the derivative of e^x and other bases.
The natural exponential function f(x) = e^x is unique because its derivative is also e^x. For general bases, d/dx(a^x) = a^x * ln(a). These functions appear in growth models and are differentiated using the Product Rule and Chain Rule.
